Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University team participated in the international stage of the Erasmus+ BEAUCOUP project

In the period of February 16–20, 2026, representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the next international stage of the Erasmus+ BEAUCOUP (Boosting Digital Excellence and Aptitude of Universities in the Countries of East Partnership) project, which brought together partners from European Union and Ukrainian universities to discuss further steps in the development of the digital transformation of education.

The following representatives from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the events: 
Valeriia Vasyk — Project Manager, Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages;
Svitlana Vovk — Digitalization Plan Development Coordinator, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work;
Anastasiia Kharchenko — Educational Expert, Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychology.

The university team is actively involved in the implementation of the key areas of the BEAUCOUP project, in particular, in the development of the digitalization plan, the development of digital competences of educators, the introduction of innovative educational technologies, and the expansion of international cooperation between partner universities.

Day One

The first day of work was dedicated to the coordination meeting of project partners from the European Union and Ukraine, which took place in a hybrid format. During the meeting, the participants discussed updated project management procedures, agreed on further stages of work package implementation, and identified the main areas of joint activities.

The participants presented the key focus areas of the project, including strategic planning for the development of educators' digital competences, boosting the professional capacity of technology education lecturers, establishing digital learning centers, and ensuring the quality of educational processes. Special attention was paid to the issues of project coordination, communication between partners, equipment procurement, and activity planning for the next period.

Day Two

The second day of the program was dedicated to learning about the practical experience of implementing digital technologies in the Estonian education system.
