BEAUCOUP project participants successfully completed training courses

Within the framework of the international project Erasmus+ BEAUCOUP (Boosting Digital Excellence and Aptitude of Universities in the Countries of East Partnership), participants from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University have successfully completed the training courses stipulated by the project program.

The training took place on the Moodle educational platform of the University of Tartu (Tartu Ülikool) and was aimed at developing the digital competences of the university's lecturers and staff, as well as familiarizing them with modern European approaches to the digital transformation of education.

The first course, "EU Digital Education Plan and Digital Competence Framework," was dedicated to the analysis of European strategies for the development of digital education and modern models of digital competences for lecturers and students. Within the course, participants worked with learning materials, took part in webinars, completed individual assignments, and analyzed the possibilities of implementing digital competence frameworks into university activities.
15 participants from LTSNU were registered for this course.

The second course, "Digital Literacy as a Concept," was aimed at deepening knowledge in the field of digital literacy, digital culture, and the secure use of digital technologies. The course program included thematic modules dedicated to cyber hygiene, the development of digital skills, and the use of modern digital tools in professional activities. The final stage of the course involved preparing an individual reflective essay on one's own vision for the development of digital competences in modern education.
20 participants from LTSNU were registered for this course.

As of February 15, 2026, all participants of both training courses have successfully completed their studies, fulfilling the tasks and learning activities provided by the program. Based on the results of the courses, the participants received relevant certificates confirming the acquired knowledge and developed digital competences. The gained knowledge and practical experience will contribute to the further implementation of digital technologies into the educational process and the development of the digital competence of lecturers and students.

The implementation of these training courses was an important stage in the deployment of the Erasmus+ BEAUCOUP project, which is aimed at boosting the digital excellence of universities and supporting the digital transformation of education in the Eastern Partnership countries.
