Organizational meeting of the implementers of the Erasmus+ BEAUCOUP project

The BEAUCOUP project is aimed at supporting digital transformation in higher education and developing the digital competencies of teachers and university staff in the Eastern Partnership countries. The project's main goal is to increase the level of digital skills among educators, implement modern digital tools into the educational process, and foster an effective educational environment focused on the use of innovative technologies.
During the meeting, the key directions of the project's implementation were presented to the participants. In particular, the project provides for the development of digital competence of teachers, support for the implementation of new digital tools in the educational process, as well as creating conditions for the sustainable professional development of pedagogical staff. The project involves updating and modernizing university educational programs, as well as creating new training courses aimed at developing digital technologies in teaching activities and preparing specialists to work in a digital educational environment.
An important aspect of the project is also the formation of a strategic vision of digital excellence in higher education and supporting universities in implementing modern digital practices.
Special attention during the organizational meeting was paid to the training courses that all project participants must complete. The training will take place on the Moodle educational platform of the University of Tartu (Tartu Ülikool). Participants received the necessary information regarding platform access, registration, and the organization of the learning process.
The first course is dedicated to the European Union Digital Education Action Plan and digital competence frameworks. The course program includes a series of thematic modules, webinars, and individual assignments aimed at familiarizing participants with modern approaches to developing digital skills in the education system. After completing the course, participants will work in groups to analyze the implementation of digital competencies at their university.
The second training course is dedicated to the topic of digital literacy as a modern educational concept. The course covers issues of cyber hygiene, the use of digital technologies in professional activities, and the formation of a digital culture in the educational environment. The final stage of the course will be the preparation of an individual reflective essay on the development of digital competencies and their application in modern education.
The organizational meeting was an important stage in the beginning of the project's implementation at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. Participants received detailed information about the project structure, training course requirements, and further stages of work within international cooperation.
The implementation of the BEAUCOUP project will contribute to the development of teachers' digital competence, modernization of educational programs, and strengthening of international cooperation in the field of digital transformation of education.
